the ultimate drama camp
The Ultimate Drama Camp, is a 1 day workshop session with high school drama students. The workshop will be dedicated to the practical aspect of drama, where physical workshops will be conducted by workshop facilitators. After which the students will break up into their theme program groups and they will use what they have learnt in the workshops and incorporate it into their performances. The workshop facilitators will then rotate through the various groups helping them during their rehearsal process. At the end of the day, the students will perform their shows for the workshop facilitators, teachers and other students. They will receive feedback that they can implement in their shows once they go back to school. This camp will aid as an intense revision and tightening up session for the students. It allows for a new kind of learning environment for the students, in order to supplement what they have learnt in class. The facilitators are industry professionals who have worked in various capacities within the arts industry. Furthermore, these professionals have studied drama post matriculation and their skills and knowledge are a valuable tool, not only for the students but also for the teachers who teach the students.
